From San Antonio to the Special Forces: A life defined by duty.
Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Anthony “Tony” Aguilar is a retired United States Army Special Forces officer with more than two decades of service to the nation. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, into a military family, Tony learned early on that service isn't just a job—it's a responsibility.
Commissioned as an Infantry Officer from West Point in 2004, Tony led soldiers in some of the most intense combat operations of the Iraq War. He later earned his Green Beret, commanding Special Forces teams in Afghanistan, the Philippines, and across Southeast Asia.
"When I hung up my uniform after 25-years of service to our Nation, I didn’t hang up my Oath to the Constitution."
His career reflects a consistent commitment to duty, integrity, and moral courage—values that now define his campaign for Congress. Tony is running to ensure that our national security is grounded in accountability and that taxpayer dollars serve American communities, not endless wars.
